i think that smiling is good for your health. it is a small, simple gesture but it is very uplifting and powerful. smile when you go to the store! smile when the barista at starbucks hands you your coffee! smile at your pets! here is an article about externalizing your internal joy and good reasons why you should smile more :)  the art of smiling at think simple now.

been playing around with prismacolor markers.  this one has a rocko’s modern life feel, i think

this is one page from the zine i am putting together.  the zine is titled “a million city lights” and features hand drawn typography plus a couple patterns.  much of it is inspired by lyrics, quotes, and lines from books.  it’s going to be 1/2 page size and i am also thinking of hand sewing the binding!
